| Introduction | I am a middle-aged woman struggling to adjust to the fact that I am no longer a young girl. Technologically the world is changing so fast that I struggle to keep up while at the same time it is failing morally at such an alarming rate that it sometimes causes me to exclaim, "What is this world coming to anyway?" On a personal level my life is a clash between youth and old age. I still struggle with the question of what I want to be when I grow up even though I have one eye on my retirement account just to see how it's doing. Walking with God over the past nearly 30 years has been a journey that has never been dull. Only through this walk with God can I keep my sanity in the world I see outside my kitchen window. |
