| Introduction | I am the Student Ministries pastor at Evangel Assembly of God (www.evangelwichita.org). I love connecting with our students. Family is very important to me; I love my wife very much, and I have a great relationship with my parents as well. I'd say I'm a simple person, but I'm not sure if those closest to me would agree. I like cooking; specialties include hamburgers, steaks, and frozen pizza. I also love taking on challenges and adventures. I'm continually learning that failing isn't necessarily bad, as long as one gave it their best and put God first in their efforts. Above all, I desire to please God with my life. This blog reveals a part of my "every day" life. Enjoy! |
| Interests | Relaxing with Kaydee (my wife), riding my motorcycle, studying, scuba diving (it's been a while), watching a good movie, playing my guitar and singing, teaching drums to students, (music in general) staying busy (i stay too busy to have too many interests...I think it's at an unhealthy level most of the time) |
| Favorite movies | How about categories; war movies, chick flicks, and family comedies pretty much sums it up. |
| Favorite music | Hillsong United, Hillsong, Relient K, Chris Tomlin, Passion, David Crowder, some country, some secular, and other bands whos names don't come to mind. |
| Favorite books | In risk of sounding cliche...the Bible. I study a lot, so I usually don't read much on my personal time. Otherwise, I generally read various theology, philosophy, history, and leadership development books. |
