| Introduction | Juliet is the vision bearer; she birthed and founded Project Shalom (formerly Shalom Ministries). She herself was orphaned, but was later fostered by Christian relatives who inspired her life to start caring for other orphans and vulnerable children in need. The idea of Shalom was a strong conviction which Juliet believed to be God’s call on her life to be a voice for the children in need. This was confirmed to her by a growing number of children who kept running to her to share their needs and requesting if she could help them. When she responded to the out cries of these children, God started providing for her to meet the needs of these children. And because of Juliet’s generous giving heart, God was graciously directing her from one step to another until her dream turned into reality! Out of Juliet’s sharing, a few individual friends and some churches came into partnership with her to help make Shalom vision a reality. Shalom now has cared for over 64 beneficiaries. Shalom is still in the making and Juliet needs more partnerships with individuals, organizations, churches, companies& volunteering agencies to link up with her in impacting at least a child’s life in Uganda. |
