| Interests | As a costume designer with a passion for all materials & making things, I am very fortunate to have worked on a diverse range of projects from music videos, commercials, television comedy & drama, photography, dance, and more recently feature films. All aspects of the work inspire me, from the planning & development, all the preparation right through to the performance and shoot.The sharing of information with other technicians, the problem-solving and debate. I am fascinated by the process of it all - working with matter/materials - traditional or otherwise. My interest in all aspects of textile manipulation from printing and dyeing to plastification and waterproofing has landed me some very unusual projects. My background as a model maker gives me a fearless and experimental approach to problem solving, each job promising a new challenge. |
