Introduction	I'm an old-fashioned country girl who enjoys the simple things in life. I've been married to my college sweetheart and my best friend for 27 yrs. I'm an elementary school media specialist, and most days love my job, although I look forward to summer vacation and the ever elusive "snow day". My favorite places are Northampton County, NC and the beach!
Interests	Spending time with family & friends, reading, photography(especially nature), scrapbooking, flower gardening, rambling on my family's farm, decorating my house, collecting old stuff (not fancy antiques).
Favorite Music	Depends on my mood: Country, Easy Listening, Smoky Mountain(not bluegrass), Southern Gospel & some Contemp. Christian, oldies rock.
Favorite Books	Tough question for a librarian!! Favorite authors include: Debbie Wiles(children's author & friend), Jan Karon (Mitford Series), Nicholas Sparks, Gloria Houston(NC children's author), Jennifer Chiaverini(Elm Creek Quilters series), Patricia MacLachlan(Sarah Plain & Tall).
