| Introduction | I've lived in Peterborough all my life and live happily with my wife Sally who is very tolerant with my bike hobby. Although I enjoy restoring classic bikes I also ride them as well. I've been restoring bikes for over 25 years as a part time hobby and this blog shows some of the bikes I have restored, refreshed or just owned and rode. I am not a mechanic by trade and have taught myself everything I know over the years. Most of the restored bikes have been totally stripped and fully rebuilt including the engines, I try to keep them as original as possible. I do all of the finishing myself and most of the paintwork, I do use a local company to do the tank and panels to a very high standard. I rebuild and set up the engines, but any rebores or crank rebuilds have been done by professionals.
