| Introduction | Welcome! I'm Marci... Avid DIYer, lover of design and turning the ordinary into something lovely! The name of my blog came from a new motto I acquired after a life changing experience. During my pregnancy I was stuck at home, due to a spinal leak in my inner ear called a PLF, that caused the worst vertigo you could imagine. Losing the ability to drive, work, and even walk sometimes left me with no choice but to make the best of my time at home. During this period, all I wanted to do was nest! But how was I going to do this when some days I could barely move?! That's when I learned to lean on others to turn a sour, "lemon" of a situation into something lovely! Thanks to my amazing friends and husband, we were able to create, what I believe to be, a welcoming environment for the new baby and everyone who would soon step in to care for us after delivery and surgery. With each post, I hope to show that it doesn't require a lot of $ to make a home lovely! All you need is the right paint and a little creativity to turn a lemon into something lovely!
