| Introduction | Up in the mornin', 'fore day I don' like it, no way. Eat my breakfast, too soon. Hungry as a mad dog, 'fore noon The words are from an Army running cadence called a "Jodie". Many years ago, I practically lived by those words. Then I hurt my knees and let myself get fat. Now I am trying to live by those words once again, despite the pain in my knees (and just about every other body part) in an effort to run myself back into shape and eventually compete in the Ironman.
