| Introduction | I'm a wife and mom of three. I started making cakes for my children several years ago, and it kinda got out of hand. I love a cake challenge. Trying to figure out how to get my cake to do what I want it to is both incredibly frustrating and rewarding. Assuming of course that I find a way to make it happen. I am rarely completely satisfied with the outcome. As a matter of fact I almost always swear I will never make another cake for as long as live. But I inevitably do. Hope you enjoy the blog. |
| Interests | My first priority is my relationship with my Savior, then my wonderful husband,Ben, followed closely by our sweet, but terribly aggravating children, Katie, Gracie, Wil and Lexi (my fabulous step-daughter). After these wonderful people are taken care of I start baking, cooking, reading, website designing, and now hopefully blogging. |
| Favorite movies | Gone with the Wind, I love all the Doris Day and Rock Hudson/Carey Grant movies. I like romantic comedies and movies with a twist that I can always impress (and aggravate) my husband by figuring out. |
| Favorite music | Old Baptist Hymns, old country, 50's & 60's music, almost nothing from the 70's, but I like the eighties. |
| Favorite books | Too many to list them all. Short list? Gone with the Wind, Scarlett, Rhett Butler's People, The Fourth Hand, anything by Harlen Coben, Jodi Picoult, Mary Higgens Clark, The Twilight Series, and the Sukie Stackhouse novels (I guess that really wasn't very short, and yet not even close to being all of them). |
