| Introduction | This is my travel and photo blog for my study abroad in Tokyo, Japan (Which will begin in Spring 2008). The plan is to use this to journal my experiences as a language student in Japan with writing, observations, and photography. I am a 25 year old student at Seattle University where I am majoring in International Studies and minoring in Japanese and Asian Studies. I have had the opportunity to work in a number of positions before trying to finish my degree including Contractor at Microsoft, Bookseller, Used Book Buyer, and Intern to a U.S. Senator. Right now I live on campus while I wrap up my degree and leave for Japan. Besides school I am an avid reader and book collector, a coffee aficionado, I love dry martini’s, the smell of wood smoke and old books, and a scotch that’s old enough to order its own scotch. |
