Introduction Bristol Rose is a 43' Ketch, designed and built by Walter Schulz, at Shannon Yachts in Bristol, Rhode Island. She is Hull #51, launched in October 2002... THE CREW OF BRISTOL ROSE: After 13 great years living in the USA our family returned to our country of birth, Australia. As the snow flurries flew Robert, Trish and Daisie Dog sailed out of Baltimore on November 19, 2008. Exactly one year later, Nov 19, 2009 Owen and Elliot joined us in Grenada to complete our sailing adventure, transiting the Panama Canal and crossing the Pacific Ocean to Australia. We arrived in Brisbane, Australia on October 24, 2010, two years after we left Baltimore. This blog records our experiences along the way and continues as we repatriate in Australia. Reverse culture shock is real!
