| Introduction | I have been married to my wonderful and amazing husband since 1993, and we have two beautiful daughters. I'm a practicing Catholic (I could use a lot more practice, frankly), but I do my best to asssent to the Holy Mother Church. I homeschool my girls, and it's both frustrating and fun, which makes it one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. In 2004, we moved from the sunny state of Florida to Virginia. The "soccer mom" part of my name is not one that I would pick for myself. I hate soccer. However, I have a very sports-minded child who loves it, so there I am. My first blog started out mostly political, but since Pope John Paul II, I've been more and more focused on my faith, which is, after all, where most of my focus ought to be, isn't it? |
