| Introduction | motorcycle that got 60mpg which I let myself morally use to the limit of $4/gallon for gas since it got twice the millage. With todays limited jobs, & the fact that my partner wanted to move back to her family farm, I was left with a 37.5 mile commute. That's where the electric motorcycle came in. Why I decided to blog about this (apart from the inspiration of my partner's blog about her & her friends attempt to live a year farming, if curious its at: http://chicksonafarm.com/ ) With new performance savvy electric vehicles finally hitting the market I concluded there is not enough real, hands on, discussion about what it is like to drive & own one of these vehicles. I have been reading about electric vehicles & closely following news & reviews since I first heard of Tesla years ago. Once I rode my first electric vehicle, the Zero Motorcycle S, I felt misled and unfulfilled by all the previous reading I had done & thought nothing in anyway describe the experience of riding this vehicle. |
