| Introduction | I’m a simple country gentleman of forty or so winters past. Married for 20+, with three wonderful kids (boys 22 & 19, and a princess 8), a grandson and a new granddaughter. My wife (ida) and i are minorities, this is our first marriage, and we had our children after we were married :) . Due to a cruel trick of life, i am resigned to a life of being a domestic, but this grants me a wonderful opportunity to spend time with my children. My children are athletic and intelligent. Ida is a “Pre-K” teacher for the local school system. my oldest is a soldier at Fort Knox and we are very proud of him. my younger son is married and works a great job to support his (ever growing) family. The town we live in is located beside Fort Sill Military Reservation, Artillery Capital of the World (at least in my eyes), so with 155’s firing at all hours of the day, “peace & quiet” is a unheard of term around here. Still, it’s awesome. |
| Interests | My interests run the gauntlet of creation and imagination, really depending on my mental status at the time. Beyond my family, my primary interest is Gaming. NOT electronic gaming, but rather Tabletop. Dice & Paper RPG’s and Min’s mostly. I’ve been doing RPG’s for a shave over 30 years now. As long as memory goes, i’ve been DM’ing D&D, but i’ve run a hundred other systems over that time. I’ve helped do play-test for game systems, most recently the SERENITY RPG by MWP. As for Min’s, i play HorrorClix system, but my favorite is Heroscape by Hasbro! It’s a simple, easy to learn min game with pre-painted plastic min’s and simple “hex-terrain” tiles. Best of all, you don’t have to go to a specialty store to find it. You can get it at Wal-Mart! It’s fun. I also enjoy Science Fiction (yes, i’m an old “Trekie”), but really now stand as a Browncoat (Firefly fan) and Stargate (all series)! Not sure what i like, just ask. |
| Favorite movies | Best movie ever made. The Court Jester. Danny Kaye, Glynis Johns, Basil Rathbone, Angela Lansbury and Cecil Parker. Vesta-Vision. 1955! Just the most awesome movie ever made! Beyond that, science fiction. Not really into horror (i scare to easily-i’m a coward). |
