| Introduction | I am a wife, mother, and educator who likes to read, cook, shop and travel. God is a very important part of my life, and without Him, I am nothing. Life is wonderful, and I have so much to be thankful for. My husband and I are in the final stages of the foster/adopt process. We started the adoption process in 2009, but postponed it in order to add some square footage to our house. After a very long and emotional journey, we were placed with 4 wonderful kids in 2012. We live in a small town, surrounded by lots of cows and fields, and the nearest shopping mall is 1.5hrs away. The purpose of this blog is to document our journey of renovations, adoption, life, and whatever else I decide to throw in the mix. |
