Introduction My culinary direction took a turn a few years ago when my daughter found out that she could not have gluten or dairy. I began experimenting with gluten-free flours and soon was successful in converting my tried and true recipes to be gluten and dairy free. During all of this I found out that I had to eliminate gluten as well. Now we both enjoy our favorite foods (when I say foods, I mean cookies) with big smiles and no worries. My background is as an artist. I have spent over 25 years in the creative departments of advertising agencies on the west coast, as art director and creative director, full-time, part-time, and as a freelancer. As a fine artist I paint landscapes and portraits of dogs.
