| Introduction | Tadhg [Si]-[Sigh] M'Congaile is a highly motivated yet self-effacing Greenland style sea kayaker, with thousands of miles of sea behind him, making many up-stream solo ascents of rivers to source. including many wild unassisted solo expeditions, from Sula Sgeir, to Brunei, Faroe & a solo of the Norwegian drop. He is obsessed with perfect execution of the Inuit art & keeping traditional nav apps alive over GPS & electronics. His passion & dedication shines improving the experience skill & awareness of others out on the oceans or cold water lochs. He builds clay ovens out of mud & performs a comedy Pusilluni Paarneq if harrassed enough. When not somewhere out in the North Atlantic, he can often be found tangled in his own washing line, back on the island. He is also an enormously accomplished climber with many unrepeated climbs in Scotland. He has at 41, re-kindled his focus toward the sea & rolling clinics, the flame of discovery & fluid exploration. He has a vast array of bad jokes & teaches rolling & some impressive extreme elements of minimalist seaward or mountain bound survival, having retired his old .338 LM day job. |
