| Introduction | I am Dusty Wentworth, a retired infantry soldier, former private military contractor and bodyguard, now working as a writer and social commentator. This blog is the central platform for my analysis of disability, masculinity, politics, society and current affairs. My perspective is grounded in lived experience rather than theory. Years spent in high risk environments, followed by medical discharge and life with complex disability, have reshaped how I understand strength, identity and responsibility. I write to examine those pressures without sentimentality or performance. Expect serious, direct commentary that challenges fashionable narratives and interrogates systems, culture and power with equal scrutiny. The focus is not outrage but clarity. Not inspiration, but realism. Further work, projects and commentary can be found at dustywentworth.com |
