Introduction	"From Texas to Tuscany..." It all starts with my name; my name is Kara, well sort of... While my mother was growing up my spunky great-grandmother used to call my mom her "Cara Mia", which translates to "beloved friend" in Italian. In fear of Americans pronouncing my name as "Car-uh", she named me Kara. My Italian roots do not stop there. I am an Advertising major with an Art History minor at OU. I am a true Texan but in September I will be studying abroad in Tuscany. I hope you find my Italian adventures inspiring as I share with you my "piccoli piaceri" along the way.
