| Introduction | Matthew Shepard is a freelance journalist. Shepard has covered many events from sports to a magician. In the summer of 2009 Shepard was able to intern for Fox 2 news, which allowed him to get a feel for what television reporting would be like. This allowed him to develop a love for broadcast journalism, which led him to be a featured reporter on WXOU radio. This led him to take classes at Oakland University in multimedia. Shepard was able to be trained in all forms of media before graduating from Oakland University. The life of the news depends on the tip line.
