| Introduction | Audra Phillips spent her formative years in a tiny Colorado town called Brighton, where she learned to draw bunnies in church. It all went horribly wrong from there. Now, she is a Los Angeles-based artist specializing in matter of the strange and disturbed, favoring fallen angels, aspiring demons, and barely-human outsiders. She utilizes diverse media to create artwork including digital visuals, book covers and illustrations, and three-dimensional sculptures. Recent commissions in the horror genre include cover artwork for the books Mutation Nation (Rainstorm Press) and Jack and Jill: A Zombie Love Story. Audra’s work can be found on display in various galleries, including recent solo shows at Dark Delicacies in Burbank and Hatakeyama Gallery in downtown Los Angeles.
