| Introduction | I am a designer in Melbourne, Australia. Girlie design is named after my grandmother Caroline who was known by everyone as Girlie. I have started this blog to keep a record of all the girlie things I find which inspire me & also as a record of pieces I have created & restored. I love mixing vintage finds, often painted white, & modern fabrics to create a crisp revived look. Also creating simple, bright pieces - mobiles, toys, fabric prints, hand bags and dresses. Projects are slow going at the moment as I recently produced my 4th baby! Welcome to all visitors. |
