Introduction He was the first person to write an advert for satellite TV in 1984, when he helped launch BT's Firebird software - one of the UK's most successful and influential games companies. He has since written extensively on business, travel and leisure for over 100 publications including the Daily Telegraph, Daily Mirror, Daily Express, The European, Punch, Motor Boat & Yachting, and Radio Times. Britain's most smoker-friendly journalist, broadcaster, photographer, PR and speech consultant, he was editor of the world famous The FOREST Guide to Smoking in London (and Scotland), and chief taster for Cigar Buyer magazine, and has smoked cigars in voodoo ceremonies in Brazil, on stage at the Royal National Theatre in London, in Vienna's sewers, in Dublin's main prison and on desert islands. James is also the British correspondent of The Smoker's Club, and Citizens Freedom Alliance, Inc. He has been writing a weekly blog for Virgin Holidays Cruises since November 2008, a year after he christened the Churchill smoking lounge of Cunard's Queen Victoria, on his 60th birthday. It seemed like a good idea at the time. www.jamesleavey.info
