About me

Introduction We met each other for the first time in the middle of a muddy field. One of us (six foot tall and very hairy) is from the part of the South where the Durotriges built their hill forts. The other (five foot two and perfectly formed) comes from the North, the territory of the Brigantes. We speak with different accents but we share a love of our land-be it North, South, East or West-our heritage and our climate. So we decided to amalgamate our individual tribes and form the Durogantes and set off to explore. At first we were living in the South (in fact if you had walked a couple of hundred yards from our front door in a Southerly direction you would have fallen into the English Channel) and most of our forays were concentrated in the South West. Eighteen months later we moved to the North-to a village in the Pennines-so now if you were to walk a couple of hundred yards from our front door you would fall into the sky.
