Introduction	Brian George is a writer and artist living in Roxbury, Massachusetts. He is the author of seven books of poetry, including "Maps of the Metaphysical Double; In the Footprints of de Chirico" and "To Akasha; An Incantation for the End of History." He has just completed work on "Masks of Origin/ Part 3; The Transplantation of Omphalos", the last of a three book series of essays.
