| Introduction | TWICE GRADUATE FROM THE INSTITUTE OF CHILDREN'S LITERATURE, AND SCBWI MEMBER. When I retired from the university, I decided to follow a dream of mine to write. So, I enrolled in The Institute of Children's Literature. The initial coursework concentrated on short stories and magazine articles for children through teens. The second course covered writing and publishing books/novels for children of all ages though YA. Recently I finished my first teen mystery novel, and I am working on two others. When I am not writing, I put together collections of pics on anything that I find interesting and could add to my writing. My husband and I like to travel and take in flea markets and auctions, vacation by the ocean or in the mountains, and try our hand in some fishing. Areas of interest also include researching animals and unusual occupations. |

| Favorite books | Nancy Drew Series, Hardy Boys Series, Patricia Cornwell, Meg Cabot, Janet Evanovich, Jennifer Chiaverini, Jan Schultz, Barbara Park's Junie B. Jones series, Mercer Mayer's Little Critter series, and the mystery writer I love the most is MARY HIGGINS CLARK. |
