| Introduction | My family lost our 13-year-old son DJ to a skateboarding accident in 2006. Since then I have given away skateboard helmets in his honor, written a book to help families with their grief and become a personal injury lawyer to help others with their own loss. I know the grief of loss in a way other attorneys do not- for which I am grateful for them, but have an understanding they do not. |
