Introduction | 1971-1994: Lived a peaceful, quiet (read: boring) life in rural Vermont 1994-1995: Taught 38 third graders on the island of Majuro (don't ask; it's on the map) 1995-1996: Taught in a one room schoolhouse in Knoxville, TN 1996-2002: Answered the question, "What's the best way to improve my English?" way too many times for way too many Korean university students in the Land of the Morning Calm 2002-2007: Dragged my Korean husband back to the green mountain state (where the joke's on us--these mountains are only green for approximately 2.7 months of the year) 2007-future: *Finish my master's degree and get the heck out of here. *Figure out if I want to make beautiful babies. . . or not. *Write a pulitzer-prize-winning novel or at least a few decent blog posts. |
