Introduction My paintings and photographs represent both, my interest and involvement, in biodiversity conservation. Nature inspires me to make and share my artwork. Whether on a bike ride, hiking, camping or any scenic road trip, I bring back to my studio the field experience and photographs to paint and create new ideas and views for my clients and audiences. Watercolors, oils and acrylics are my favorite mediums, and love to write and sketch in my art journal. Practicing plein air painting fills my spirit once a week. A wonderful experience I had, was when I owned and promoted a community art center, known as Centro Cultural de Naturaleza y Arte in Sonora, México. During the 90’s, I also had the privilege of doing the signage in two National Parks from Northwestern Mexico, one in Sonora, and other in Baja California, where graphic design and content development were key factors. I’ve worked for international and national NGO´s and also written and published nature articles, highlighting the beauty of our natural environment and the huge need of protecting the value and integrity of wild places and their biodiversity. Teaching art and learning more, is always in my calendar every where I am.
