Introduction	Hello everyone! We are finally blogging in an effort to keep in touch with everyone. We just moved to Des Moines, Iowa in March and love it! It is a beautiful and friendly city. The last couple of weeks there hasn't been a flood or tornado and only one severe thunder storm so its shaping up to be a nice summer. We just experienced our first holiday away from family (the 4th of July). It was fun, we went to a parade, barbequed in the back yard and watched the kids play in the little pool while we sat on our swing (we sound old don't we). It was a truly enjoyable day but John and I both found ourselves on the phone wondering what our family was doing back home. We miss you! We absolutley love our new home. It betters our life in so many ways and gives us a content and settled feel that we havn't yet experienced. So things are good and we hope things are good with you too.
