Introduction	I wanted to create this blog for all of my friends and family who are interested in following my adventure over the next several months here in Alaska. I love and miss you and for the record I am home sick, but as a friend reassures me, as much as I miss my people, I will someday be reflecting fondly of this experience and missing Sitka. So, I better soak it up today, because it has a short life span.
