Introduction	Hello! I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. Politics wasn't a big thing in my household which limited me to know about things that was going on in the real world while growing up but here I am taking this course. It is a requirement but I am still very interested in expanding my knowledge about the wonderful state of Texas. I was labeled as disaffected democrats, not entirely sure what that means, but that's what I am here to learn. I was able to vote in the recent big election for the senators. Though, it was not in my favor, I am proud to say I was able to participate.
