| Introduction | My husband and I were blessed with an amazing son three years ago. He was born 14 weeks premature following a difficult pregnancy. He had a very difficult road in the NICU and we had to be very cautious when we returned home. We went from a house with two good incomes to a house with one good income... and then a job change cut that income in half. We made a choice between both of us working opposite shifts or cutting our expenses. Thanks to couponing, researching prices, and choosing the cheaper option, we are getting by and paying off our medical debt. It is rewarding to see how full our lives have gotten since we stopped trying to fill it with stuff. I wanted to start a blog because I've noticed that when I surround myself with friends who save money, I save money. So this is my attempt to reach out to people like me who want to pay a little less. |
