Introduction I am seventeen years old, a child and a servant of God, a sister, and a daughter. I love to write, blog, and sew, and am never happier then when I have a little child on my lap. My heart's desire is to glorify God and to help others to come to the point of total surrender to Him. God has blessed me with wonderful parents and fantabulous sisters ("Marianne" and "Margaret" :-) ) For years I have been a lover of past eras, particularly Regency (thanks to Jane Austen!) and the mid-1800s. That is what sparked my interest in historical costuming. More than sewing, though, I love the Lord Jesus Christ. When I was still a young girl, the Lord drew me to Himself and made me His child because His Son Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, paid the penalty for my sin on the Cross and paved the way to Paradise. Nothing equals the joy and the peace I find in having a personal relationship with my Creator and Redeemer. I hope this relationship is yours as well.
