Introduction	What will happen to you after you die? I am going to guess that most will say heaven. Why are you going to heaven? Because you are a good person? The Bible tells us there are none good but God. 1)Have you ever told a lie? 2)Have you stolen anything regardless of value? Downloading songs, movies, software illegally is stealing. 3)Have you ever murdered someone? John wrote that hating people is murdering them in your heart. 4)Jesus said that lusting (looking at someone in a sexual way) is adultery. Have you ever lusted? Those questions are a mirror into our souls. They are just 4 of the 10 commandments. Breaking one of the commandments is the same as breaking all 10 and deserves God's just wrath. Face it, if you were to die and see God, you would deserve hell because you have sinned against him. That is God's wrath on us when we die. But, God is also rich in mercy and love. God sent his Son to become the subject of God's wrath so that we can live. Jesus took our deserved punishment so that we can be saved. Jesus requires us to repent (180 turn from sin) and trust in Him. Repent is us humbly coming before God claiming that we are sinners and need a savior.
