Introduction	Opinionated, thick-skinned, politically incorrect malcontent seeks smart, bombastic, broad-minded cohorts to solve the world’s problems one well-intended delusion at a time, beginning with federal stimulus and subsidies. For my day job, I am president of Avocus Group where I improve operational performance by poking Shingo pins into Muda, Mura and Muri monsters. I am a numbers wonk, with a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA from Boston University. When I’m not on the road, I live in the Chicago area with my wife Carolyn and our two sons. I was born in Boston and pray to the Fenway gods. I drink Scotch whiskey. I also enjoy most outdoor activities like skiing and cycling, good food and drink, history, music, and arguing over government spending programs.
