| Introduction | Mardyah Tucker is currently based in London and is a freelance violinist,creative musician and composer.Mardyah studied violin at the Royal College of music and graduated with a performance and teachers diplomer.In 2005 she returned to education to study creative music and composition at Brunel University.Her work from the outset has included improvisation, performing at the Globe and National theatre as well as working for numerous orchestras,chamber groups,and recording sessions.Mardyah has embarked on creative projects including orchestration,composition and improvisation for the film "City Rats" that was released earlier this year.She has also worked on the Collabotative project "Bodies of Water" were she met Katie Keeble with whom The "Scoop duo" was created. She also performs solo recitals which includes her own compositions. |
