| Introduction | I am a young adult living life as a journey and learning as I go. Someone once told me that the best thing I could do, was to get out and get experience. I think that's what I'm doing! Some may think I'm lost, my mother says I refuse to grow up because I like to still play, and I think I'm just on a grand adventure. But, I do strive to act mature at times, and make good decisions in-spite of being young at heart. My field of study was sociology and conflict studies. My current passion is working with Karen refugees in Thailand, as life and money permits it. Ragtag Boutique is another passion of mine. My goal with Ragtag is to create new, and useful items out of junk or things that might ordinarily get thrown out or discarded. The earth does not have endless resources, so get creative, live simply, and give something back. My other true passion hinted at above, is going and serving others who are oppressed and disadvantaged. We all have something to give, it might not be traditional and you might not feel equipped, but find ways to give to others. You'll be surprised how it changes your life. |
