| Introduction | I am Laura and I have a sewing addiction. I have been sewing/tailoring/patternmaking for almost 10 years now. I love it with a passion and sew everyday without fail. I am mostly mom taught and self taught although I have taken a couple of classes at Mesa Community College. Those classes include Tailoring, Patternmaking, Sewing with a serger and Advanced sewing techniques. I am a mother of four children, two of girls two boys. I LOVE to sew for my girls, and I am even getting more creative with sewing boy things too. Alterations are my specialty, bridal and everyday, I find it so challenging to come up with new ways to alter things that usually get turned away by dry clean alterationists. I also do quite a bit of custom sewing, anything from wedding dresses and blessing dresses to cute everyday items. I am currently obsessed with t-shirt dresses. |
