Introduction	Emmalee was diagnosed with liver cancer.(fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein involvement) in October of 08. This is a rare cancer mainly found in adults who have Hepatitis B or Cirrhosis of the liver. Emmalee has neither of these problems. There are three other kids we are aware of in the United States who have this same tumor. The tumor has invaded almost her entire liver and because of the piece in her portal vein she is not eligible for a liver transplant.
