IntroductionIt took 2.5 million years of human evolution consisting of an extremely large sequence of events that needed to be followed exactly in order for us to be who we are and for you to end up at this blog site today reading this paragraph. Before that there was an even longer period of time consisting of even more mind boggling events, (including 6 periods of almost becoming extinct) that also had an influence on us getting to this point. Even the slightest change in the sequence could have altered the entire process rendering the situation unachievable and improbable that you would be here now. So yes, we are both pretty damn special. It is however a pity that you have landed at the one blog site that serves as proof that evolution can go backwards :-)
