| Introduction | I am a young care-experienced person from India, deeply committed to advocating for and empowering care leavers. Since February 2023, I’ve been working with a non-profit organization, helping care leavers like me overcome the challenges we face and bridge the gaps in support. As a LIFT fellow, I’ve had the chance to raise awareness about care leavers on national and local platforms, sharing our struggles and successes with the world. I am passionate about pushing for better and stronger support systems for care leavers, not only in India but globally. Being a core member of the Global Care Leavers Community and the National Care Leavers Network allows me to strengthen connections within our community and fight for the changes we deserve. |
