| Introduction | I was born in the 70's and grew up on 80's television and was educated by School House Rock on Saturday mornings. I've probably consumed more television in my lifetime that the surgeon general recommends and because I have a Masters Degree I will argue with anyone who says that TV is bad for you (as with anything it's all about moderation and in this case I don't mean quantity I mean quality and age appropriateness television). I am happily married to a wonderful man. We met in 1995 and began dating almost a year later--a long story that's possibly worth blogging about... We married in 2000 and because we survived our first year of marriage (another blog topic perhaps) I know we can weather any storm. I am also a mom of two awesome kiddos and I marvel at my responsibility to mold these two children into respectable human beings--I mean seriously shouldn't there be some licensing or required state testing before taking on such a momumental task like that? The screening process for adopting is more rigid that procreating! |
