About me

Introduction	I have a degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri, and at the moment, I am seeking a Master's degree from the Missouri State. I will be starting my second year of teaching at Sheldon R-VIII this year. I believe using technology is the classroom is no longer the burden that it was five years ago, but rather it has now become essential to a successful classroom. The positives outweigh the negatives, so I have decided to fully integrate my classroom with all available resources that our school has to offer. Not only will we be using our class website for information, but notes will also be posted from class lecture using the school's new Livescribe Smartpen. The students will also utilize the SMART Board and Senteo Clickers during our lectures. These tools will not only provide an easier way to lecture, but they will also enhance the learning experience in ways that were unattainable 15 years ago.
