Introduction	Hello, I am Jim Dennison. I am a retired Police Detective and Property Appraiser. I am a widower with 4 children, all grown, and 5 lovely grandchildren. I am a fiber artist who works in painting (acrylic & encaustic), quilting, sewing, embellishing, felting (wet, needle and machine), printmaking (etching, custom-made stamps & woodblock printing, mixed media collage and eco dyeing. I love photography. I photograph flowers, wildlife and landscapes of local interest. I also photograph surface textures to include in my work. I love making marks that reflect my view of line and texture on all kinds of surfaces. I use many things to make marks, whatever is relevant to my work. While I have many interests, eco dyeing is the thread that ties them all together.
