| Introduction | After studying piano and clarinet in his hometown of Winnipeg, Ted McIrvine earned his Ph.D. in physics from Cornell University and was employed in research management and as a University Dean. He has always had a strong interest in all the arts. He was the Board President and CEO of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra responsible for hiring David Zinman. Since 2001, he has been an arts journalist. |
