Introduction	Believe it or not, I am a registered Independent. I believe that they two party system has failed us. I believe that our government is corrupt, and the politicians can’t see past their next election. The problems we face cannot be changed by a political party. The will of the people is the only hope, but this means we have to become much more educated, much more aware, and we need to actually care. I am not a Bush fan. But, I will also not jump on the Bush hater’s bandwagon. Blaming Bush may have won an election, but it also sets a dangerous political precedent. If our problems are always someone else’s fault, then nothing ever gets solved. It’s just rhetoric used to displace the masses. Although I am independent, I am conservative. I will purposefully push harder than I normally would to the right, because this is an opposition blog. The further they stray from the middle the further right I need to go to balance it out. (I can just as easily argue the left, but chose not to.)
