IntroductionAlan is an internet veteran. He has been online since 1988 when he discovered the fascinating world of BBSs. In 1994, Alan got onto the internet. He began experimenting with web design by 95, and had already launched his first website by 1996. In college, Alan lost track of his potential internet career (majored in psych), and struggled with the post-grad blues. In 2003, Alan decided that he wanted to start an online business. He dove in head-first, and like most people who attempt such feats, felt overwhelmed with the work. Taking everything very slowly, Alan eventually built a profitable eBay business. What Alan learned from this experience was what led him to a full-time job doing internet marketing. Starting in the wine industry, Alan began flexing his marketing muscle. Within 6 months working for an internet wine retailer, Alan had racked up some major sales using email marketing. Alan also had some great success with PPC advertising. One of Alan's proudest moments was noticing a 900% increase in sales of one particular product after search engine optimizing the page. In January 2008, Alan joined the Bebe au Lait team, and is excited about the work he has been doing.
