| Introduction | I feel like my life has been a masquerade. Publicly, I am supergirl!I come across as an energetic, ambitious, accomplished, and beautiful young woman. However, most people don't know about what I am hiding underneath this: chronic illness. I've had ENDOMETRIOSIS since I was a teenager. I've had 5 surgeries, including complete excision of endometriosis. I also developed ADENOMYOSIS, and had to have a hysterectomy. This blog is about the me who many people do not know. I hope that some of the information I share will help other young women and their loved ones who are faced with these health issues. The journey has been difficult, and definitely is not over. |
