| Introduction | Hello All!! Welcome to my Blog. My hope is to share common interests with others, namely genealogy and travel. Since these two interests don't necessarily go hand in hand, I have created two separate blogs. "A Wandering Melody" focuses on our travels both near and far. It also allows me to share my 2nd passion of photography. I am far from professional, but the pics seem okay for an amateur. "Branching Out" focuses on what I have uncovered in my family genealogy as well as my husband's. My family surnames are: Giddens, Gibbs, Gray, and Rouse with many other mixed in. Most of my family is from S. Georgia. My husband is a McAuliffe. His family ancestry is from Cork Ireland and the Blacks from Haddington Scotland. Since genealogy research takes time, the posts for this blog are not as often. But if you have any connections to our families, I would love to hear from you!
